WHERE RECOVERY MEETS THE KINGDOM
Restoration. Recovery. Community. Kingdom.
Your worst chapters don’t have to become your final chapters.
THE ULTIMATE RECOVERY — METAMORPHOSIS
This ministry isn’t just about getting sober or getting your life back together. It’s about discovering who we really are in Christ and becoming FULLY ALIVE.

Our Story

After 11 years in pastoral ministry, addiction nearly destroyed everything we had spent years building.
But our story didn’t end there.
On May 25, 2025, I entered treatment, and what began as a journey of recovery became a journey of DISCOVERY.
Read Our StoryOur Mission
To see people and families restored, discover their identity in Christ, and experience the freedom of becoming FULLY ALIVE in Jesus.
We believe restoration doesn’t stop with an individual. It reaches marriages, families, churches, and entire communities.
Our Vision — A Home for Restoration
We’re believing for a permanent home for Second Half Ministry in Bertrand, Missouri, serving our town and the surrounding communities.
We envision a restored building filled with LIFE.
A place for worship, recovery, discipleship, and community.
Where families are strengthened, children are growing, people are discovering freedom, and churches come together to lift up JESUS.
We’re not just believing for a building to be restored. We’re believing for lives, families, and communities to experience RESTORATION.
Beyond the Building
Second Half Ministry isn’t limited to one location.
We’re passionate about sharing the gospel and our experience, strength, and hope wherever God opens doors.
Through churches, recovery gatherings, speaking engagements, community relationships, and our podcast, Out in the Open — Where Recovery Meets the Kingdom, we want to help others experience the life and freedom found in Jesus.

Be Part of the Story
We’re not interested in building something around ourselves.
We want to see JESUS revealed through a community of people learning to love, serve, and grow together.
We’re inviting others to pray with us, serve alongside us, and partner with the vision.
There’s room for YOU in this story.
